Due to their highly skilled and nationwide installation team, Pro EV were the ideal partners for Ocean Charge Oxygen apartment project. Pro EV were tasked with installing the charging infrastructure for 22 parking bays across 2 floors of the underground parking area.

The Oxygen Buildings Manager, Ali Syed said: “None of the other companies I reached out to brought forward a ‘no cost upfront’ proposal. When I was introduced to the idea that Ocean Charge would install for free, it made sense to take this approach as this way no Non-EV users are given a reason to complain about why they are out of pocket (through service charge) when they don’t own or never intend to own an EV. Only users of EV’s will now (overtime) be paying towards the cost of this. Pro EV were great and thorough with the job. Communication was good throughout and most importantly; the result is very neat. No complaints on our end”.

After an initial site inspection, Pro EV agreed on the most economical cable route, taking the power from an existing but unused electrical supply to the designated charging bays.

Pro EV’s engineers used Woertz flat cable busbar system to neatly install 4 walls mounted Zaptec Pro 22kW chargers and the charging infrastructure for an additional 18 parking bays, allowing the building management to quickly and easily add more chargers and future proof the development as the demand for EV charging grows.
