Residential estate agent introduces EV Fleet

Estate agent charging electric vehicle as part of estate agency fleet EV charging initiative
[January 2025] Prestigious Residential estate agency, John D Wood, with 31 offices across London and the South introduces an EV fleet to reduce carbon output in line with the net zero mandate, and as a result Pro EV have partnered with their fleet vehicle provider to install company EV chargers.

After an initial consultation and site visit, Pro EV’s engineers installed Sevadis Maxicharge 7.4kW units at their Oxford and Southfields branches and a Sevadis Maxicharge 22kW charger at their Beckenham branch.

Pro EV’s support portal enables John D Wood the ability to have a full overview and complete control of all charge points. Pro EV link back-office system will identify how many chargers are available, how many vehicles are on charge, maximise revenue and get a complete overview on C02 savings.

Is it time to upgrade your home or business with on-site EV charging?

The Managing Director of John D Wood, Simon Merson said: “It was important for us to monitor the usage and prevent any unauthorised charging sessions. Following a demo of Pro EV industry leading back-office management platform, I was confident that we could track the charging sessions through the user friendly and intuitive dashboard from my desk, as well as identify and resolve any issues that may occur”.

With over 100 members of staff, John D Wood will allow their staff to reduce carbon footprint from driving electric vehicles and passively charge their electric vehicles whilst in the office.

David Struthers, Head of Commercial Operations at Pro EV, said “I’m really pleased that we could help Simon and his team to make the switch to EVs as easily as possible. Having chargers on site will help them to reduce not only their CO2 emissions but also their transport costs and improve their driving experience. We look forward to rolling out EV charging across more of their sites as their EV fleet increases”.
