The second Mercedes to make the list for the longest electric car range is the Mercedes EQS AMG 53 4MATIC+ which matches the Tesla S Dual Motor above in terms of standard distance at 350 miles drive time following a full charge. What drops this saloon to its number three spot is the maximum 490 miles when city driving during mild weather.

This fully electric model which has been available since February 2022 and can go from 0 to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds, while offering a sporty interior. For those looking for something a little extra, the night shift model offers a panoramic roof.

4. Tesla Model S Plaid


The Tesla Model S Plaid can take on 340 miles following a single full charge. Even better, the distance can increase to 480 miles when driving in the city during mild weather.

The Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback 55 Quattro has been on the market since December 2022 offering an average driving range of 325 miles, which extends to 455 miles when driving in the city during mild weather.

This model gives drivers a glimpse into the future of luxury all-electric SUVs, boasting an e-tron route planner which integrates your route with available charging points just when you need them.

6. Lotus Eletre


The Lotus Eletre has great things predicted for its future in the world of electric cars. Offering an average driving distance of 320 miles, this increases to 455 miles when driving in the city during mild weather.

With the added luxury of a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, climate control and 12-way adjustable front seat including driver memory and greeting function.
